Hi HB,

You will need a passport or a passport card. Alternately, if your state offers an enhanced driver’s license with an RFID chip, you can use that, or if you’re a member of the NEXUS, FAST or SENTRI trusted traveler programs, you can use your membership card. Hope this helps!

If you’re driving to Mexico, he needs one of the following: a passport or a passport card, an enhanced driver’s license with an RFID chip (please check with your local DMV to see if this is available for your state), or a NEXUS, FAST or SENTRI card.

If you are flying, you both need a passport book. Hope this helps!

If you’re traveling by plane, you need a passport book. If you’re traveling by land, you need a passport book, a passport card, an enhanced driver’s license (with an RFID chip, not available in every state) or a NEXIS, FAST or SENTRI card (these are trusted traveler programs).

You need a passport, a passport card, an enhanced driver’s license (with an RFID chip, not offered in all states) or a trusted traveler card like a NEXUS, FAST or SENTRI card to get back into the United States from Canada traveling by land.

It depends on whether you’re flying or sailing. If you’re flying, the baby needs a passport. If traveling by sea, all you need is the birth certificate. Hope this helps!
