The airline simply won't let her on a plane without a valid passport. However, with the documents you have, you should be able to get a new passport issued. You can either make an appointment at the nearest regional passport agency (find the nearest one here: http://travel.state.gov/passport/npic/agencies/agencies_913.html) or we can help you get her passport replaced. She is now 19 and going to college at UF. She had bought her ticket to leave on the 19th. I am in the process of moving and I cannot find her passport. I have the old passport, birth certificate, copy of the current passport, can she obtain a letter from the passport agency and travel to and from Canada with it?
